The Amish Craftsman is a store in Houston, Texas selling fine handmade Amish furniture and accessories representing some of America’s premier craftsmen and women.

Our furniture is handmade by Amish craftsmen in Ohio, Indiana and Pennsylvania from the highest quality hardwoods. Our pieces are made in oak, ¼ sawn oak, cherry, maple, hickory and walnut. We offer dining room, bedroom, living room and office furniture. We take great pride in the furniture that we offer. We invite you to stop by our showroom to see the quality and craftsmanship of the Amish furniture firsthand.Our accessories are made by artisans that include potters, metal-smiths, glass-makers, photographers, painters, block printers, weavers and candle-makers from across the United States. We also offer hand knotted carpets by the Persian Carpet Company made from 100% New Zealand wool.

We have created a collection of handcrafted solid wood furnishings and decorative items for your home which reflect simple design and exceptional taste.

In the store, our furniture and accessories are in the ‘Arts & Crafts’ style, focused on clean lines, quality workmanship and natural materials. We believe that there is no one true Arts and Crafts style, but many interpretations which include Mission, Shaker and Prairie designs.
