Perusing through the Amish Craftsman store is always a joy as the furniture there is stunning.  The furniture and craftsmanship involved is really something to admire.  Making a purchase to include a piece in my home enabled me to continue to admire and enjoy what I experienced in the store.   The anticipation of taking possession of a piece(s) and envisioning how it would look in our home is what I remember.  The staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and not “pushy” at all.  I couldn’t wait to see the furniture in our house.  We’ve purchased several items there and have had some pieces delivered to the house and others I’ve picked up at the store.   In both cases, Amish Craftsman delivered when they said they would and had the pieces available for pickup as agreed.  Amish Craftsman seems to be a family run operation, so you sense that all involved are stakeholders towards customer satisfaction and the overall success of the operation.  That’s something which is rare and refreshing.

We had been looking for new dining table and chairs for a couple of years without finding anything that we wanted. Being a woodcraftsman of sorts, I wanted fine craftsmanship in elegant hardwoods. On advice from our children, we visited the Amish Craftsman Store on Washington in Houston. There we found just what we wanted. We purchased a cherry dining table with curved legs and boat shaped top together with very comfortable chairs. The price was very reasonable, significantly less than we had been quoted at other furniture stores. We couldn't be more pleased. The order was given a three month delivery time, but the furniture was delivered last week in just under 2 1/2 months. The construction and craftsmanship is exquisite with a finish that is virtually indestructible. The delivery boys were a delight. They were knowledgeable, conscientious, and really fun. We will recommend the Amish Craftsman Store to our friends.
